The cakes and snacks are really yummy, especially the millionaire shortbread. It's conveniently located across from the park if you want to grab a takeaway and sit outside. The coffee is disappointing though, it's weak and lacks any kind of flavour profile.

Honestly can’t recommend The House enough. It was just what Sandbach needed and is the perfect spot to grab (the best) coffee, a spot of breakfast or lunch and to take a break in what is such a welcoming, friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
The staff are so warm and welcoming and I would certainly recommend you pay a visit if in the area.

What can I say, it’s like a home away from home and Sandbach wouldn’t be the same without The House!
The coffee is superb, the food is great and most of all the people are incredible. They really make you feel like you’re part of a little family and I never hesitate to recommend this place to anyone looking for the best coffee in town.

The heart and soul of the community. Food is excellent, coffee is excellent and atmosphere is even better. Most of all, genuine people who can’t do enough for you. A definite must for any Sandbach resident or anyone just passing through.

I first visited Blackwater and Grubb in 2020 when they had the van in Sandbach park then The House soon after and it’s now the only coffee shop I would visit in Sandbach. The coffee is incredible, the service is of highest standards and the atmosphere is super friendly and welcoming. We love the variety of food options and we always grab a toastie for lunch. Alex, Pete, Alex squared,Elena, Sophie, Ellie and Hannah are exceptional and I will always recommend The House to anyone wanting top quality coffee and a great bite to eat with a side of fantastic customer service!

Coffee good, bacon sandwich terrible..
you seem to cook bacon in one batch in the morning and then warm them up when people order.
Ending up with hard cardboard bacon butties....never again.

As good a toastie and bacon bap you can get. Mocha and coffee excellent. Why would you use Costa when you can support local cafes? Far better value for money. Highly recommended.

This is a real asset to Sandbach. A cosy, friendly coffee shop that does home made food and quality coffee. The staff are wonderful and create the atmosphere. Always spotlessly clean. Very dog friendly ( with dog treats). Close to town centre, park, bus stop. Well worth a visit.

Popped in on my way to the Lakes. Great stop off on the motorway... such a friendly little coffee shop! Coffee was better than the coffee bars down home in London. Great Brownies.. so good that I had to take 4 onwards for the rest of the journey! Defiently will be stopping again here!! I Throughly recommend it!!

Today was my 485th visit. My home from home (or my House from House if you were). By far the best coffee, the best atmosphere and the friendliest people; staff and customers. Food is fresh, bakes are mouthwatering and so is the bearded guy behind the counter. Great for dogs too!! Perfect 👌🏼
